The Effects of Intense Emotions on the Body – Interview with Dr. Meg Haworth

 In Blog

“When we put people in boxes and we tell them this is your box, it can actually limit us and we are actually unlimited beings.”- Dr. Meg Haworth

In a recent Facebook Live video, I interviewed Dr. Meg Haworth about how intense emotions can affect the body.

Sometimes we can get to the root cause of our own illness and find our path to healing by hearing (and learning from) someone else’s healing journey. Meaning, we often develop an illness from an old unsolved trauma, and sometimes the way someone else healed from a similar trauma can show us how to do the same.

Make sure you watch this video until the end as Dr. Meg Haworth shares some incredibly valuable thoughts with us about our bodies, emotions, and ability to heal.

Key things to remember:

  • How to heal your inner-child traumas.
  • Why traumas can have a big impact on your physical body.
  • Follow your intuition.
  • Step outside the box.
  • The importance of dark and light.
  • Eat healthy, nourishing foods.
