What to Expect During Your Initial Visit
Your initial visit is 60 minutes and includes:
A comprehensive review of your current health concerns and medical history
An in-depth discussion covering all aspects of your health, including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and lifestyle
A complete physical examination using both Western medical and Chinese Medicine diagnostic techniques
A clear explanation of your health concerns from both Eastern and Western perspectives
Identification of possible underlying causes and contributing factors
Personalized recommendations for:
Diet and nutrition
Supplements (when appropriate)
Exercise and movement
Stress reduction and lifestyle support
A customized follow-up care plan integrating acupuncture, functional medicine, and other appropriate therapies
A written summary of recommendations—and, if you wish, an audio recording of Dr. Shiroko’s explanations for later reference
Whenever appropriate, your initial visit may also include an acupuncture treatment as part of your care.
